NH DOT: The four miles between I-89 and I-393 will be widened and exits redesigned. Here's what the public needs to know.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will hold two combined public officials/public informational meetings to review and discuss the proposed widening of I-93 from the I-89 interchange in Bow northerly approximately four miles to the I-393 interchange in Concord. The preferred alternative for proposed improvements will be presented at these public meetings, according to a press statement. In addition to the I-93/I-89 interchange, this project will include interchange reconstruction/reconfiguration at Exits 12, 13, 14, and 15 on I-93, Exit 1 on I-89, and Exit 1 on I-393.

The purpose of these meetings is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment, officials noted.
