If You Live in These Areas of Concord ...

Get your leaves out on the street before Wednesday.

Concord General Services began its Fall Leaf Collection Program this past Monday, according to City Manager Tom Aspell.

On Wednesday, Nov. 11, crews will collect leaves from the school zone area (shown above), as schools are closed for Veteran’s Day. This will allow for minimal interference with the community and the most efficient leaf collection for the area.

Crews will resume their original collection routes after the holiday. Residents may also bring their leaves to Earth Materials Recycling Center at 10 Intervale Road for free (with proof of residency). Earth Materials Recycling Center is open Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and on the following Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to noon, weather permitting: Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 21, and Dec. 5. During the week of Thanksgiving, they will only be open Monday through Wednesday.
