3 Injuries Reported At House Fire In Webster: Update
Concord, Hopkinton, and other capital region firefighters as well as DHART were called to Deer Meadow Road for a house fire.
WEBSTER, NH — Capital region firefighters were sent to Webster on Wednesday to assist with a house fire with injuries.
Just before 3:30 p.m., Webster fire and rescue teams as well as firefighters from Boscawen, Bow, Concord, Chichester, Franklin, Henniker, Hopkinton, and Warner were called to a house fire on Deer Meadow Road.
Initial reports from the scene stated residents were possibly trapped inside. Witnesses, according to fire dispatch, reported smoke coming from the home and a person attempting to escape from a second-floor window.

After firefighters arrived, they confirmed a person was trapped in the home.
According to Paul Parisi, the state's fire marshal, Webster Fire Chief Emmett Bean Sr. was one of the first people to arrive at the fire and confirmed there was a woman who needed to be rescued from the second floor.

"I do have a person trapped," a commander said to fire dispatch. "I'm going to try and get in there and get her."
A couple of minutes later, fire command said, "I can't get into her … it's too hot."
Around 3:45 p.m., fire command stated an adult, a child, and a second child were removed from the home and he requested four ambulances.
Parisi confirmed that a woman in her late 30s, as well as a girl and a boy, were rescued from the home by firefighters. They were taken to Concord Hospital and then transferred to Mass. General Hospital.
Dispatch and online reports stated two helicopters from Dartmouth-Hitchcock were also requested and that Route 127, not far from the fire, was shut down to assist with the rescue.

At just after 4 p.m., the bulk of the fire was reportedly knocked down, dispatch said.
Parisi said he did not have an update on the health of the victims and the incident was still under investigation.
