Why are you seeking elective office?
Previously served and feel a need to do more for veterans and seniors
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Property taxes. Seniors on fixed incomes and disabled veterans are finding the steady increase on a fixed income to be pricing them out of their homes.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I attend all sessions and committee meetings, and I actually care about the tax burden on NH.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
Resisted lowering taxes, and tried to increase regulation on business and industry
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Federal spending coming into NH. It needs to be audited and rteported in a transparent way.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My first term I was successful in co-sponsoring several pieces of legislation (Hearing Protection Act and Disabled Veteran Tax Credit increase). I was also appointed committee whip.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Think before you speak, then mean what you say.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
Ask where I stand on an issue and I'll tell you. You may not agree with me, but you'll know what and why.
