11/29 - 12/8 bring canned fruit, veggies, or pasta to Everett Arena

As we get closer to the holidays, we start planning for “where are we going for Thanksgiving?” or “what size turkey do we need?” or “what is on the kids Christmas list that I can get on sale?” or our favorite: “Did we win that hockey stick for selling the most CYHA fundraiser calendars?”
The holidays are also a season for giving and our “little community sports association” would like to give back to another “community” program.
From November 29 to December 8, Concord Youth Hockey will be asking all of its players’ families for help in donating food items to benefit the “Capital Region Food Program.” Donation boxes will be located at the Everett Arena. How easy could it be? When you come to the rink for practice or game, simply drop your items in the box! So when you are packing your players’ duffel bag, remember to throw in a can of fruit, or vegetables, or a box of pasta along with their skates and helmet, then drop them off at the Everett!
