How do you know your graduating student nominee?
My daughter
Tell us why they deserve to be nominated!
My daughter (of Asian descent and diagnosed with several disabilities) started her school years needing summer schools for many years. But since 10th grade, she has been getting As. She won top "academic honors" last year as a junior, receiving an award. She also received a top honor award in Visual Arts. It appears that she is headed on the same path this year. My daughter has some disabilities, but that did not stop her. She pushed herself very hard to get to where she is academically today. I am so very proud of her achievements and the barriers she conquered while fighting her disabilities. She was/is very crucial to herself and never quit. She is graduating this year with As, and not only does it make me proud, but it also made her school staff, who helped, very proud of her, too. I would like to thank the MVHS staff who worked with my daughter to get her where she is today.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
Not only did she conquer her barriers to achieve where she is today, but she is a very good person. She has a great heart not only for humans but also for animals.
Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Kieara "Kiki"!
