Kitchen Fire at Meadowbrook Apartments Forces Evacuation

Seventeen people evacuated on Fisherville Road, according to Concord Fire Chief Dan Andrus.

A kitchen fire heavily damaged one unit of an apartment house and forced the evacuation of 17 other units on June 23, 2015, according to Concord Fire Chief Dan Andrus.

The fire at the Meadowbrook Apartments at 94 Fisherville Road was reported at 3:53 p.m. and the first units were on the scene at 4 p.m. reporting smoke from the second floor of the three story building, he stated.

“The fire was quickly knocked down, but that apartment and one unit on the first floor were uninhabitable due to fire, smoke, and water damage,” Andrus said in a statement.
