CONCORD, NH — A Lakes Region teen is facing numerous charges after being accused of drunken driving at nearly double the speed limit on Interstate 93 in Concord on Thursday night.
Just before midnight, a New Hampshire State Police trooper on the Interstate spotted a vehicle on the southbound side of the highway and clocked it at 124 mph. That section of the highway is posted as a 65 mph zone, Amber Lagace, the public information officer for the state police, said.
“(The) trooper was able to locate and stop the vehicle approximately three miles south of where he first spotted the speeding vehicle,” she said.
