Ladies Night Shop Crawl is Thursday in Downtown Concord

Plus spotty weather, music, nonprofit information, a clothing sales and more.

Here are 5 Things you need to know about the week ahead:

  1. A wet week? It looks like it. On Monday, expect sunny skies and highs in the low 60s. By Tuesday there could be showers in the morning and then partly sunny skies with highs in the mid-60s. More rain is expected on Wednesday, with temps in the high 50s. On Thursday, expect clouds and highs in the high 50s, with similar weather on Friday.
  2. Do you work for a nonprofit? Terry Axelrod of Benevon will talk about how to sustain and fund your nonprofit at a talk at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the New Hampshire Distributors on Regional Drive. The talk is free but you must pre-register.
  3. Bravo for volunteers. Enjoy a free fashion show at Bravo’s Boutique at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. All items are 10 percent off and 10 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Concord Contemporary Club.
  4. American, Celtic folk music. Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly will perform at the next Walker Lecture Series at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Concord City Auditorium. Enjoy traditional American and Celtic folk music and percussive dance. The event is free and open to the public.
  5. Shop crawl for the ladies. At 5 p.m. on Thursday, stop by any of the participating stores in Downtown Concord for free goodies, prizes, sales, music, refreshments, and more.
