Large Crowd Attends Brogan Event

Author "humbled" by the response at booksigning.

Author Paul Brogan spoke to a large crowd at Gibson's Bookstore on June 30, promoting his new book, "Was That a Name I Dropped?"

Brogan said he was "really humbled by the responses" of folks who came out to hear him speak and get copies of the books.

"I felt like Scrooge being shown his past by the Ghost of Christmas Past," he said. "There were people I went to grammar school with at St. Peter's, classmates from Bishop Brady, people from my time at Motor Vehicle and a large contingent from my 7 1/2 years at Blue Cross as well as members of the Community Players, Music Club, Songweavers and everything in between."

"Amazing," he said, "but then it could only happen in Concord - that type of connection that remains."

Brogan has also agreed to start blogging here at Concord NH Patch, so stay tuned for more from him.
