CONCORD, NH — Artisans and business leaders will celebrate the newly renovated gallery and the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen storefront on Friday at its North Main Street location.

The gallery and store have been involved in a months long renovation effort involving the org’s board, Kate Saunders, its new executive director, and Mark Ciborowski, a downtown property owner and developer.

The League was founded in 1932 with funding from Gov. John Winant. The org opened its Concord gallery in the early 1970s.

“It is our hope in this next chapter of our story that we honor the legacy of the League, and that this new project, footsteps away from the capital, can serve as a reminder of what makes living in New Hampshire so special,” Saunders said. “When we support one another, we can create businesses, fine craft, and most importantly, relationships that make a difference in our communities.”

The League’s mission was to “advance, cultivate and champion excellence in fine craft. The League pursues that mission through educational programming, leadership initiatives, marketplace strategies and support services.
