License Plate Check Leads To Warrant, Meth Charge In Concord
Erin Fournier of Tilton was accused of not knowing she had methamphetamine in her purse while driving around Downtown Concord.

CONCORD, NH — A Lakes Region woman is facing a felony drug charge after a traffic stop downtown on Aug. 26.
An officer saw a 2004 Ford Focus, with New Hampshire plates, on Loudon Road and then later, Herbert Street and Stickney Avenue. They ran the plate and found the owner, Erin S. Fournier, 31, of West Main Street in Tilton, had an active electronic bench warrant in Hooksett District Court for a controlled drug: controlled premises where drugs kept charge with $100 cash bail from two days before.
The officer pulled the vehicle over, spoke to Fournier, a detective arrived, too, and she was arrested on the warrant. Fournier told the officer she wanted to try and raise the $100 for bail and was taken to police headquarters, a report said, while her car was prepared to be towed.

Later, she Mirandized and asked about the meth, the report stated, but she did not know it was there and admitted to using meth occasionally. Fournier was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 26 on felony drug possession and transport drugs in a motor vehicle charges as well as a warrant. She declined bail and was taken to the county jail.
