Light Snow, Chilly Weekend Temps, Fun Things To Do: Get Out, NH

It's a long weekend for some, being Presidents Day/Washington's Birthday on Monday. There will be comedy, concerts, food, and other events.

CONCORD, NH — Weather forecasters are warning that Friday’s commute may be slippery after 2 to 4 inches of snow falls on the region.

A “hazardous weather outlook” was issued for southern New Hampshire on Thursday morning, saying the “light snow accumulation” Friday could “result in locally slippery travel.” The sun will reappear after the snowfall, and temps will be in the mid-30s with wind gusts as high as 35 mph.

More snow is expected on Saturday afternoon, but accumulations will be limited. Temperatures will be between the teens and lower 30s.
