Liquor Store Coming to Pembroke

PEMBROKE, NH — Construction is underway on a new, 12,000-square-foot NH Liquor and Wine Outlet in Pembroke that is scheduled to open in September, according to a press statement. The standalone store at 619 Sand Pond Road in the Pembroke Crossing Plaza will be the first NH Liquor and Wine Outlet located in Pembroke. The new store, which will offer a robust selection of more than 2,400 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits, will be easily accessible from both Route 106 and Manchester Street. The new store is projected to generate $3.5 million in annual sales.

“The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is especially pleased to bring a store to Pembroke," said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. "This new location will provide convenient access for customers in parts of Concord, Hooksett, Bow, Suncook and Allenstown. This location is of special interest, as the local traffic in the area is expected to triple in the coming years thanks to improvements in transportation through the New Hampshire Department of Transportation’s 10-Year Plan.”

This new Pembroke NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will be strategically located in Pembroke Crossing beside Dunkin Donuts, Veano’s Italian Kitchen, The Wine’ing Butcher and other major retailers. Along with ample parking, NHLC is designing the new store with state-of-the-art features, including iPads for perusing inventory and food and wine pairings, high-efficiency LED lighting and parabolic fixtures, sustainable siding and vinyl composite trim, as well as architectural-grade roof shingles, and temperature-controlled wine cabinets. Along with special sections for premium wine and spirits, the outlet will feature an expanded close-out sale section, highlighting last chance deals, Price Busters and Wine Power Buys.
