Long-Time VP Commercial Loan Officer Vlahos Set To Retire
Merrimack County Savings Bank says Michael Vlahos has been an essential part of the commercial lending team throughout his 26-year career.

CONCORD, NH — Merrimack County Savings Bank (The Merrimack) announces the retirement of longtime Vice President Commercial Loan Officer, Michael Vlahos, effective Dec. 31.
Vlahos has been an essential part of the Commercial Lending Team throughout his 26-year career with The Merrimack.
“Mike has been an upstanding and community-conscious member of our team for many years, forming deep and lasting connections with his customers,” David Peterson, SVP Commercial Lending and Team Leader at The Merrimack, said. “We will miss him in his retirement but hope he enjoys every moment of it.”

Vlahos started his career at Bow Mills Bank and Trust in 1998, serving as a Commercial Credit Analyst and Commercial Loan Officer before Bow Mills merged with The Merrimack. In 2007, he was promoted to his current position as Vice President Commercial Loan Officer.
A well-known presence in the Capital Region, Vlahos is committed to serving his community. He currently serves as treasurer of Kiwanis Club of Concord, which he has been a member of since 1999. He has also served as a board member of the Concord Advisory Board of Waypoint NH and Concord American Little League.

In retirement, Vlahos is looking forward to spending more time with his family and taking trips to his vacation home in Wells, Maine. He has plans to continue travelling and already planned his next trip to Turks and Caicos.
