Magnitude 1.9 Earthquake Rattles Concord Area

CONCORD, NH— A magnitude 1.9 earthquake struck Bow Bog, roughly 7 miles from Concord, according to the United States Geological Survey. The temblor was reported just after 11:53 p.m. Wednesday.
People reported feeling the quake in Bow, Dunbarton, Hooksett, and Newbury. The epicenter was near Allen Road and Bow Bog Road.
Patch readers also reported hearing a loud boom in Bow around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The last earthquake reported in New Hampshire was also magnitude 1.9. It hit Dec. 20, 2022, with an epicenter in Alton.
