Man From Maine Accused Of Impairment After Crashing Into Parked Car In Penacook

Watch: Concord cops, NH State Police troopers were sent to Village Street Saturday after a complaint filed by a pedestrian and a crash, too.

PENACOOK, NH — Concord police and New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to a crash on Village Street in Penacook on Saturday.

Around 11 p.m., police dispatch began receiving reports about a white Mazda crashing into a parked car. Dispatch also fielded a call from a pedestrian in the area saying they were almost hit by a white car.

An officer and a state trooper arrived at the crash, which was just off Washington Street, and found a Mazda sedan with a Maine registration had rear-ended a Subaru sedan with Massachusetts plates that was parked. This led the Subaru to be pushed into the back of another parked sedan, the officer told dispatch. The Mazda and Sedan had significant damage. The airbags in the Mazda were also deployed, the officer said.

The driver, a man from Maine, was not injured, the officer said. Concord fire and rescue teams checked him out anyway, and they were cleared. State police also cleared after more Concord officers arrived to take pictures and deal with traffic.

While checking the driver, dispatch said he had a non-extraditable warrant out of Florida.
