Maine Man Busted with 20 Pounds of Pot: Sheriffs
Northwood Police, Rockingham County sheriffs allegedly bag Zachary Franklin with bags and bags of dope.

NORTHWOOD, NH - An erratic driving complaint on Route 4 led to a major pot bust by police and sheriffs in the eastern part of the state, according to a report.
Zachary Franklin, 20, of York, ME, was arrested on April 1, 2016, and charged with operating under the influence and distribution of marijuana.

According to Rockingham County sheriffs, at around 8:30 a.m., dispatch received a complaint from drivers on Route 4 in both Nottingham and Northwood of a Chevy Tahoe “driving all over the road,” according to a report.

A Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office deputy initiated a vehicle stop of the Tahoe and spoke to the driver, Franklin.
Northwood Police and the sheriff’s department initiated an investigation and then, applied for a search warrant of the vehicle. The warrant was issued out of Candia District Court and investigators allegedly found 16 bags of marijuana. The weight of the bags, according to police, was about 20 lbs.
Franklin was held on $10,000 cash bail.
