Maine Sex Offender Arrested On Duty To Report Charge
Raymond Fields, a homeless man now located in Portland, was arrested by Dunbarton Police this week. He also faces felon with gun charge.

DUNBARTON, NH — A sex offender who has previously been convicted of duty to report has been arrested again, according to police. Raymond Fields, a homeless man now located in Portland, was arrested on Sept. 25, 2017, for felony duty to report. According to police, Fields allegedly failed to notify police that he moved out of town within five business days, a requirement due to his sex offender status.

Fields was convicted in Maine in 2008, for unlawful sexual contact, a felony. He turned himself into police and is scheduled to appear in Merrimack County Superior Court on Oct. 12. Fields, according to police, was previously convicted on a duty to report charge in July 2012. According to reports online, he was also convicted on a child care prohibition charge in January 2014. Fields was also arrested in May after police allegedly seized rifles in his home, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader.
