Webster Man Accused Of Spitting At Employee, Making Ax Threats At Mickey D's
Eric Mayville of Webster was accused of spitting at and threatening employees outside a Manchester McDonald's after being refused service.

MANCHESTER, NH — A capital region resident was arrested on Monday and held after being accused of spitting at a Queen City restaurant employee and threatening others.
Around 10 p.m., police in Manchester were sent to the McDonald’s on Hanover Street for a report of a man causing trouble at the restaurant’s drive-thru. The store manager said a man drove to the drive-thru and started an argument with employees. An employee refused to serve the man, and the man spat at the employee, according to Heather Hamel, the public information officer for the Manchester Police Department.
“Approximately three and half hours later, police were called back to the McDonald’s for a report of criminal threatening with an ax,” she said. “Arriving officers located four victims outside who said the same man had returned to the restaurant around 1 a.m.”

The suspect, identified as Eric Mayville, 46, of Webster, was accused of driving up to the drive-thru again and this time, he was told the restaurant was closed, Hamel said. He was then accused of driving around to the parking lot and waiting for the employees to leave for the night.
“(The employees) reported that Mayville got out of his vehicle with an ax and threatened them with it,” she said. “He then left the area.”
