The man, “who was visibly shaken,” alleged that his ex-girlfriend, Lamb, had “punched him in the face” several times on Dec. 12, and Dec. 13. The most recent assault occurred a few hours before.

“I observed two small bruises starting to develop under both of (his) eyes,” the officer reported. “(and) a small laceration on the bridge of (his) nose.”

The man alleged that while driving together earlier in the evening, Lamb repeatedly struck him in the face. She was reportedly driving at the time while also allegedly hitting him. While at Walmart together, Lamb allegedly keyed his Volkswagen Golf. She later allegedly took his cellphone and wallet from him, which contained about $300, he stated, and believed that she would also be destroying his work uniforms.

The man filled out a statement and the officer took pictures of his injuries.

The reporting officer and another officer then went to visit with Lamb at the couple’s residence.

“It appeared that she may have been attempting to clean the residence,” the officer reported.

When interviewed, Lamb reportedly told the officers that the two had an argument and denied doing anything to the vehicle, allegedly blaming another man for the damage. She showed the officers her ex’s work uniforms, pointed to his cellphone charging on a nightstand, and a wallet in a diaper bag. The officer noted there was no money in the wallet and asked Lamb about where the man’s money was. The officer also took pictures of the “large scratch marks” on the car.

The second officer later took a statement from a witness who alleged that Lamb keyed the vehicle while at Walmart.

Lamb’s parents arrived at the residence to take care of the couple’s child while Lamb was taken into custody on assault and vandalism charges.

After being read her Miranda rights, she spoke to the reporting officer about the situation and was released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail. Lamb is due in court on Jan. 26.
