Loudon Man Arrested In Concord On Child Sexual Assault, Endangerment Charges

A national org alert led to Michael Nadeau of Loudon being accused of sexually assaulting a victim under 13 and soliciting a child for sex.

CONCORD, NH — A man from Loudon is facing a child sexual assault charge in Concord after police and state investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

In late September, the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children task force received an alert from the national center about child sexual abuse images, possibly homemade, being uploaded to the Internet, according to Deputy Chief John Thomas of the Concord Police Department. The task force, he said, forwarded information to the city’s computer crimes unit.

Michael Nadeau, 38, of Loudon was developed as a suspect, Thomas said, and search warrants were requested for his residence.

“Investigators obtained several search warrants and collected evidence,” he said. “Probable cause was established and an arrest warrant for Nadeau was issued.”

Nadeau was arrested on aggravated felonious sexual assault-victim under 13 and endangering the welfare of a child-solicit sex charges, both felonies. He was processed, refused bail, and was taken to the county jail.

Nadeau is due to be arraigned in Merrimack County Superior Court on Friday.

Concord police were assisted by the NH ICAC Task Force, the NH State Police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department, and the Loudon Police Department.

Concord police are continuing investigate Nadeau and this case, and asked anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at 603-225-8600.
