Officers made contact with Acevedo who had allegedly locked himself in a utility closet. The officers asked him to unlock the door and come out, so they could speak to him.
“Acevedo refused and kept stating he wanted help, but gave no specifics on the help he needed,” O’Keefe alleged.

Manchester Fire and Rescue teams showed up at the scene and along with police, used tools to pry the door open. An officer was able to start to enter the small room but Acevedo allegedly slammed the door in his face. Acevedo was later taken into custody, charged, and held without bail.
