Man Assaulted Outside Downtown Concord Billiard Bar
A man was taken to Concord Hospital after a fight at Wow on North Main Street Thursday; man was rendered unconscious; cops investigating.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating an assault incident downtown at a bar on Thursday.
Around 10:45 p.m., police were sent to a report of an assault where a man was beaten and was on the sidewalk, unconscious, outside Wow Billiard and Bar on North Main Street.
Another man, a homeless man with priors, was accused of participating in the assault and reportedly fled the area. Before police arrived, dispatch received reports the victim had regained consciousness.

The first responding officer confirmed the man had injuries, was conscious, and requested a fire and rescue team.
Dispatch ran a check on the victim and found he had an outstanding warrant, dispatch said.

EMTs took the man to Concord Hospital later.
A description of the suspect was given to other officers, with dispatch noting he had no active warrants but was a known methamphetamine user and had a suspended license.
One officer reported seeing a Subaru accelerating on North Main Street while arriving at the assault scene. Dispatch said the vehicle might be connected to the suspect. Another officer began checking for surveillance footage while a third went to the hospital to speak to the victim.
