Mohamed Kamara of Concord allegedly drove straight into the cruiser despite deployed flares, blue lights on I-89 North this morning.

HOPKINTON, NH — A local man was cited for failure to abide by the state's "move over" law after allegedly driving into the back of a New Hampshire State Police cruiser on I-89 North in Hopkinton this morning, according to state police. Mohamed Kamara, 38, of Concord, was cited on Feb. 5, 2018, after reportedly rear-ending a cruiser near Exit 5 at around 6:15 a.m. today. The state trooper was investigating a motor vehicle accident this morning on the highway, was in a cruiser with illuminated lights, and had deployed several flares in the roadway, according to Staff Sgt. Paramedics from Hopkinton Fire and Rescue evaluated both the trooper and Kamara at the scene and no injuries were reported, he stated.

Since Kamara allegedly failed to move over for a roadside emergency, as required by law, he was given a summons for the offense.
