Motorcyclist Crashes Bike On Manchester Street; Concord Police Investigating: Watch
Police, fire and rescue teams were sent to a Manchester Street crash Sunday; the rider was accused of fleeing while only wearing 1 shoe.
CONCORD, NH — Concord police are investigating a motorcycle crash on Manchester Street on Sunday.
Just before 5 p.m., fire and rescue teams and police were sent to a report of a crash not far from the intersection with Airport Road and Integra Drive. A few minutes before firefighters and police arrived, dispatchers from both teams reported the rider was walking west, away from the scene, and was wearing a green T-shirt and only had one shoe on.
“OK,” the fire commander said, “We’ll find him.”

A witness, also driving in the area, told police dispatch the rider was driving “entirely too fast up the hill” from Pembroke into Concord and then crashed, according to scanner chatter. Later, police reported being with the driver on Old Suncook Road and EMTs and firefighters headed there.
According to a check, the rider was in his late teens, with dispatch saying they did not see a motorcycle endorsement. The motorcycle was a 2001 Harley-Davidson Road King. Police also interviewed witnesses and reported a damaged road sign at the crash scene.

After refusing transportation to the hospital, the rider changed his mind and was taken to Concord Hospital, according to scanner chatter.
An officer also went to the hospital to interview the rider later.
News 603 posted a video on Facebook.
While investigating this incident, Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to another motorcycle accident on Snow Pond Road near Shaker Road.
Dispatch reported the rider and the passenger were on the ground. Later, police said the injuries appeared to be minor.
