Man Faces Multiple Charges

Concord Police file resisting, criminal threatening charges after an alleged assault incident at the liquor store.

A Concord man was held on $30,000 cash bail after an alleged assault incident that lead to alleged altercations with Concord Police officers and more criminal charges.

Chad Nelson, 40, of Concord, was arrested on May 20, and charged with three counts criminal threatening (intimidation, etc.), disorderly conduct, two counts of resisting arrest or detention, simple assault (personal weapons), and attempt to commit simple assault.

He was arrested at 6:22 p.m. at the on Storrs Street. Other incidents occurred at on Pleasant Street, and the headquarters on Green Street.

The alleged victims in the case were three police officers and Manchester man.

Cash bail was set at $30,000. Nelson had a court date on May 21.
