Man Flees Brookside Pizza After Attempted Robbery

UPDATED: Concord Police are looking for a man in a black jacket who reportedly flashed a gun during a robbery attempt on Feb. 12.

CONCORD, NH - Concord Police are looking for a man who reportedly attempted to rob Brookside Pizza III on Manchester Street.

Police were sent to the restaurant at around 8:20 p.m. on Feb. 12, 2016, for a report of a man flashing a handgun and demanding money in a robbery attempt. An employee reportedly refused to give up any money and the man fled, according to report.

Police are looking for a white man in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-feet, 9-to-10-inches tall, wearing a puffy black jacket with a fur lining around the hood and a white scarf around his face. After reportedly fleeing the scene, the man ran east toward the Concord Nissan dealership, according to witnesses.

Officers and New Hampshire State Police patrolled and canvassed the area of west Pembroke, Manchester Street, and Airport Road, including side streets like Old Suncook Drive, Airport Road, and Integra Drive, looking for the suspect while other officers secured the restaurant and gathered evidence and witness statements.

At a little past 9 p.m., a NHSP K-9 unit arrived at the scene attempting to track a scent from the suspect. At just before 9:30 p.m., state police and officers called off the search, according to scanner chatter. At around 11 p.m., Concord Police released a still shot from surveillance video.
