Man Killed In Laconia Motorcycle Crash Served As A Firefighter For Dennis, MA Fire

Laconia, NH - A 28-year-old Massachusetts man killed in a devastating late-night motorcycle collision in New Hampshire over the weekend has been identified as a Massachusetts firefighter and town public works employee.

Cameron Mosher, of Dennis, Massachusetts, was one of three people killed Saturday night when two motorcycles collided on Route 3 in Laconia.

According to Dennis Professional Firefighters Local 2583, Mosher served the town as a call firefighter. He also worked for the Dennis Department of Public Works and was the son of active Dennis firefighter Bert Mosher and his wife, Leigh-Anne.

Laconia Police Chief Matthew Canfield reported that emergency personnel responded to the crash around 11:00 p.m. Saturday near the vicinity of Funspot and the Looney Bin bar and grill. Preliminary findings indicate the two motorcycles were traveling in opposite directions along Route 3 before colliding head-on.

The impact caused one motorcycle to catch fire. Officers determined that each motorcycle was carrying a driver and a passenger at the time of the crash.

Three victims were pronounced dead at the scene:

Jeanine Fereshetian, of Laconia, NH

A fourth victim—an unidentified woman believed to have been riding on the same motorcycle as Mosher—suffered serious injuries. She was airlifted by a Dartmouth-Hitchcock Advanced Response Team (DHART) helicopter to Concord Hospital, where she remains in critical condition.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Laconia Police Department. Officials noted that all details regarding the crash are preliminary as investigators work to reconstruct the events leading up to the fatal impact.
