Concord Regional Crimeline alert: Police investigating incident at the McDonald's on Fisherville Road. Do you recognize any of these men?

CONCORD, NH - The Concord Regional Crimeline has issued an alert asking for the public’s help with a forgery incident from last month.

According to the alert, officers were sent to the McDonald’s Restaurant on Fisherville Road on March 15, 2016, for a report of a man allegedly passing a counterfeit $20 bill at the restaurant at around 8 p.m.

Three men reportedly came into the restaurant together and one of them ordered food. That man reportedly took “a large wad of money” out of his pocket, was going to hand the cashier a $100 bill, and then allegedly decided to hand the employee a $20 bill instead, according to the alert. The two other men were standing nearby; one of them also reportedly had a lot of cash in his hand.

“The cashier checked the bill with a counterfeit detector pen which showed the bill as counterfeit,” according to the alert. “The male reportedly told her his money was good and then asked for the money back. The cashier refused to return the bill and told him she would be calling the police.”

The three men left the restaurant, got into a gold Subaru Forester, and left the area.
