Man Wanted for Alleged Armed Robbery, Conspiracy

Concord Police: Adam Smart is "a dangerous subject."

The is looking for the public’s assistance in locating “a dangerous subject who is believed to have fled from the Concord area after committing an armed robbery.”

Adam Smart, 28, with an unknown address, was reportedly last seen in the Garvins Falls Road in Concord on March 25. He is described at about 6-feet tall, 180 lbs. Police issued arrest warrants for him for Armed Robbery and Conspiracy.

According to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, Smart allegedly invaded a home on Garvin Falls Road and injured a resident of an apartment building there while in the process of the home invasion. The victim is OK, at this time, he said.

O’Malley reported that Smart had numerous active warrants out for his arrest. He could be in the immediate area, anywhere around the state, or out of state, he said.

“Given the breadth of the warrants, he seems to be all over the place,” O’Malley said. “He could be anywhere right now.”

According to a police alert, Smart is wanted by the Merrimack Police Department, and the Belknap County and Rockingham County sheriff’s offices for burglary related charges. The U.S. Marshals Office is assisting with the search for Smart, according to a press release.

About 18-months ago, the Lawrence Eagle Tribune reported that Smart was allegedly involved in burglaries in Derry and Londonderry during the summer of 2010.
