Police say Brandon E. Lanum, 27, should be considered dangerous and possibly armed. They say that he entered the bank at 88 South St. around 10:39 a.m. Friday and passed a note demanding cash from a female teller. He then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

At the same time of the robbery, police said, a bomb threat was placed to Concord Hospital. Detectives have determined that the call was placed from a pay phone in front of Milano’s Pizza located across from the bank at 3 Broadway. It is believed that the two incidents are related.

As Lanum fled from the bank, police said a dye pack that had been placed with the stolen money triggered, covering him with red dye. Police said evidence has been recovered, but they didn't disclose what that evidence might be.

Based on its investigation, the Concord Police Department said a warrant has been issued for Lanum's arrest charging him with robbery.
