Manchester Speeder Busted with Heroin on I-93: NHSP

Christopher Chasse was arrested after allegedly being clocked driving 88 mph in a 55 zone this morning in Bow.

BOW, NH - A Queen City man is due in court in May after allegedly speeding on I-93 and being arrested in possession of heroin, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Christopher Chasse, 28, of Manchester, was arrested on March 26, 2016, and charged with operating after revocation or suspension, operating with suspended registrations, acts prohibited (heroin, other drugs), and speeding.

At just before 6:45 a.m., a state trooper from Troop D allegedly clocked a vehicle driving north on I-93 in Bow driving 88 mph in a 55 zone, according to a NHSP alert.

After stopping the vehicle, the trooper determined that the driver, Chasse, reportedly had a suspended license and suspended registration on his vehicle.

“Upon taking the driver into custody a substance believed to be heroin was located in the operator’s pants pocket,” according to Lt. Gregory Ferry of the NHSP. “Additional drugs and drug paraphernalia were also located in the vehicle to include numerous hypodermic needles.”

Chasse was arrested, process, and released. He’s due in court on May 3.
