Manchester Woman Bagged On DWI, Deadly Weapon, Negligent Driving Charges In Concord
Laurie Keith was accused of fleeing from troopers; spike strips were deployed in Hooksett and Concord, where she was arrested Saturday.

CONCORD, NH — A woman from Manchester was arrested on multiple charges Saturday after a drunken driving chase from Manchester into Concord.
Manchester police were involved in attempting to stop a 2013 BMW 3 series car which was located by a New Hampshire State Police trooper around 1:30 a.m. The trooper attempted to stop the car before it entered Interstate 93 north. The driver, however, failed to stop, Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the state police, said, despite sirens and emergency lights being activated.
“At times,” she said, “the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and was having lane control issues. Troopers from the Troop B and D barracks were successful in deploying spike strips on I-93 near the Hooksett rest area, which deflated two of the vehicle’s tires.”

The driver, later identified as Laurie Rebecca Keith, 39, of Manchester, was accused of continuing to drive at a slow rate of speed on the Interstate while riding on its rims.
Lagace said the driver exited the Interstate in Concord. State police then got Concord police involved, and a second set of spike strips was laid out. The chase ended on Gas Street near several closed businesses, she said.

She refused bail and was scheduled to appear at the Hillsborough County Superior Court North on Jan. 17.
