Marshals Seek Convicted Sex Offender

CONCORD, NH - Have you seen William Soltan? He is a registered sex offender who allegedly did not register with police earlier this year, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Soltan – who also reportedly goes by the alias of William Nelson or Bill Soltan – is 33, 5-feet, 4-inches tall, and weighs around 160 lbs. He has blue eyes and brown hair with light skin tone. Soltan also has tattoos on his arms, back, abdomen, and legs, according to a The District of New Hampshire-New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force alert.

A warrant was issued for Soltan’s arrest on Jan. 7, 2016, by the Manchester Police Department, after he allegedly failed to register as a sex offender. He was convicted of two counts of felonious sexual assault in 2011 of sexual assault against a victim 13 or older but under 16 with an age difference of more than four years.

“Soltan was last known to live in Manchester, NH, but his current whereabouts are unknown,” said Deputy Marshal Jamie Berry in a statement. “Soltan has the majority of his family, friends and associates in the Manchester, NH area. If you have any information about the whereabouts, or have observed a person that resembles Soltan, please contact the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, or your local police.”
