Casey Kirsch of Weymouth, MA, faces charges in Sanbornton after a crash killed John Hanna Jr. of Lancaster, a passenger in a truck Sunday.

CONCORD, NH — A driver from Massachusetts faces felony charges after being accused of impaired driving and crashing a truck that ejected and killed a passenger inside Sunday on Interstate 93.
Around 1:30 p.m., New Hampshire State Police were sent to a crash in Sanbornton near Mile Marker 62.4 involving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The department’s Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit was requested to investigate the incident, Amber Lagace, a public information officer for the department, said. Investigators determined Casey W. Kirsch, 33, of Weymouth, MA, drove the truck off the southbound side of the highway into the soft shoulder, she said.
“The vehicle then reentered the highway and rolled over,” Lagace said. “As a result of the crash, the passenger was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.”
