Mega Millions Jackpot Approaches $1 Billion
Lottery officials say Friday's drawing is estimated to be $910 million — the 5th largest jackpot in Mega Millions history.

CONCORD, NH — Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot drawing is expected to be the fifth largest in the game’s history, according to New Hampshire Lottery officials.
The estimated jackpot is $910 million, with a one-time payout value of more than $464 million before taxes. If anyone wins it, it will be the eighth-largest lottery jackpot overall. The jackpot has not been won since mid-April.
“You can feel the excitement in the air as the Mega Millions jackpot continues to climb, nearing that one-billion-dollar mark,” Charlie McIntyre, the New Hampshire Lottery executive director, said. “Imagine what you could buy with $910 million — that dream car, dream house, or even a dream island. The possibilities are endless.”

McIntyre said online and retail sales had been strong, with Mega Millions ticket sales exceeding $1.8 million last week alone.
“We are looking forward to closing out the week with this amazing jackpot — and hopefully a lucky New Hampshire winner,” McIntyre added.
