Update: Mega Millions Climbs To $555M — 5th Highest Jackpot Ever

Tuesday's jackpot is expected to be the 5th highest in Mega Millions history since there has not been a winner for about 3 months.

CONCORD, NH — Update: Mega Millions, which has not had a jackpot winner for more than three months, is on track to be the 5th largest drawing in the lottery game’s history, officials said Tuesday.

The drawing is expected to be around $555 million or an estimated $316.9 million in a one-time payout, before taxes.

“Summer in New Hampshire is becoming a whole lot more exciting as our players have a chance to win more than half a billion dollars in tomorrow night’s Mega Millions drawing,” Charlie McIntyre, the executive director of the lottery, said. “Over the past few weeks, retailers across the state have seen players jumping at this opportunity to become New Hampshire’s next multi-millionaire and we anticipate a continued high volume of sales leading right up to Tuesday night’s drawing.”
