Mega Millions And Powerball Jackpots Crack Top 10 All-Time Highs
Lottery: The $750 million Mega Millions is the fifth-highest jackpot ever while Powerball, at $640 million, is the ninth-highest jackpot.

CONCORD, NH — Lottery players have two big jackpots this week with a combined value of nearly $1.4 billion.
Neither the Mega Millions jackpot, which will be drawn Friday, nor the Powerball game, drawn on Saturday, has had winners in 34 straight drawings so they have big jackpots this week. Mega Millions has jumped to $750 million while Powerball will be at $640 million. The Mega Millions jackpot, if won, will be the fifth-highest lottery prize ever. The one-time cash payout will be $550.6 million before taxes.
Powerball's one-time cash payout will be around $479 million —the ninth-highest jackpot ever.
