Merrimack County Savings Bank Donates $10K To CRVNA Fundraiser

Merrimack County Savings Bank (the Merrimack) donated $10,000 to the Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association (CRVNA) in support of a $25,000 matching grant from the Lodestar Foundation. The grant monies will offset expenses associated with their merger with Central NH Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice (Central VNA), to expand and improve care and services throughout the state.

As the population of New Hampshire ages more rapidly than any other state in the country, agencies like CRVNA and Central VNA, who provide home-based health care and hospice services, are needed now more than ever. “We have been facing challenges that make it more difficult to deliver care, including complexities in technology, licensing and administrative requirements, and demand for services that require a higher level of expertise,” said Beth Slepian, President and CEO of CRVNA. “We are very grateful for the Merrimack’s generous contribution to help us reach a growing population. CRVNA and Central VNA have enjoyed a collaborative working relationship for many years, and we believe that merging our teams allows us to maintain the high level of care our patients and providers expect from us, and expand services and programming throughout the many communities we reach.”
