Colleen Weaver, 16, has been missing since Oct. 18, when she left her home sometime between 1 and 4 a.m. Neither family nor police has had any contact since she disappeared — and they believe she is in danger. Weaver is 5 feet tall, about 120 pounds, and has red-pink hair. She wears black glasses and was possibly wearing a sweatshirt and leggings.
Weaver was reported missing by her family. Since then, Raynham police have been in close contact with local, state, and federal partners — including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Commonwealth Fusion Center, and Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office. She was also listed as missing in the National Crime Information Center and with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
“When a child goes missing, it is every parent’s worst nightmare,” Chief James Donovan of the Raynham Police Department said. “We are using every resource at our disposal to help locate Colleen Weaver and bring her home safely. If anyone believes they may have seen her, we asked that you call us without delay.”
Donovan also thanked those who have assisted in the search and provided tips thus far. In particular, he thanked the owners of Lamar Billboards, who have added information about the search to their billboards locally.
Investigators said Weaver “may have traveled to a location approximately 100 miles away from her home.” Police requested media outlets in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont to share information about her case.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts or who may have seen her recently was asked to contact the Raynham Police Department at 508-824-2717 or call 911.
