MollyB Capital Center Brick Fundraising Effort Raises Thousands

GoFundMe.com effort for Concord girl who passed away in May passes $3,000 mark in six weeks.

CONCORD, NH — Friends of Molly Banzhoff, the 13-year-old girl who passed away earlier this year due to a brain tumor, have raised more than $3,000 to have their friend memorialized in a brick outside of the Capital Center for the Arts, according to a post on GoFundMe.com. The effort to raise $5,000 began in late July by Alyssa Stanley and Haley Emery, fellow dancers of Banzhoff’s at the Concord Dance Academy.

Last week, the effort passed the $3,000 mark meaning that they have less than $2,000 to go in just six weeks. Emery noted that other friends had been raising money and selling merchandise in order to reach the goal.
