CONCORD, NH — Unitil is assessing how long it will be before 1,531 Concord customers have power restored on Tuesday.

According to online alerts and posts on Twitter, about 7 percent of the city’s electric customers are without power. The company is still assessing how long it will take before power is restored. On Twitter, the company said it hoped to have customers restored during the next hour or so.

While the cause of the outage is not known, the bulk of the customers are in the eastern and southeastern areas of the city — including Airport Road, Regional Drive, and Manchester Street. The outage occurred sometime between 10:30 and 10:45 a.m.
