More Murky Mid-Summer Weather In New Hampshire This Week
As the peak summer months begin to wind down, when will the sun and heat reappear? Plus, "high surf advisory" in effect until Monday night.
CONCORD, NH — More soggy weather is expected this week, followed by a return of the sun but much lower temperatures than just a few weeks ago.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service are calling for rain and thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s, and lows will be in the lower 50s.
A “high surf advisory” is in effect through 8 p.m. on Monday on the Seacoast due to large, breaking waves of 5 to 7 feet. The NWS warned Sunday morning of dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion.

“Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to the dangerous surf conditions,” an alert stated.
The rain and clouds move out of the region on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, expect sunny skies, highs in the lower to mid-70s, and overnight lows in the lower 50s.
According to forecasters, Thursday will be slightly warmer, with highs in the mid- to upper 70s.
Next weekend, expect sunshine and temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
