Mother Allegedly Strikes Son, Female Friend with ‘Light Saber’
Concord Police also charge her with breach of bail.

A local man probably wished he had “the power of The Force” after an alleged altercation with his mother a few weeks ago.
According to a Concord Police Department arrest report, officers were called to a Loudon Road apartment complex at around 9 p.m. on Sept. 22 for a disturbance report.
After arriving, taking statements, and assessing the situation, police charged Ann Marie Sadatis, 59, of Concord, with two counts of simple assault.

Police allege that Sadatis struck her son, a homeless man reportedly from Concord, with a “light saber,” according to the report. Sadatis also allegedly struck “a female acquaintance” of her son’s with the same weapon.
Police reportedly seized the light saber as evidence in the case but a picture of the weapons was not available, according to Lt. Timothy O’Malley, the commander of the criminal investigations unit of the department.

Sadatis was held on $4,000 cash bail and was arraigned in Sixth Circuit District Division Court on Sept. 24.
About a week later, at 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 1, Sadatis was picked up again on a default or breach of bail conditions charge at the same apartment complex. She was held on $5,000 cash bail and had a court date on Oct. 2.
No other information about the second arrest was available.
According to reports gathered by Concord NH Patch during the last year and half, Sadatis has been arrested a number of times and charged with assault, criminal threatening, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, reckless conduct, and default or breach of bail conditions.
