EPSOM, NH — At least four people were injured and possibly one death was reported after a multi-vehicle crash in Epsom Wednesday.

At just after 8:30 p.m., Epsom fire and rescue teams were sent to a motor vehicle crash on Route 4 between Brimstone Hill Road and the Chichester town line. The first arriving firefighters reported three vehicles involved with the crash and requested more firefighters since there was entrapment in at least one of the vehicles. A few minutes later, they requested more ambulances, too.

The Capital Area Mutual Aid Fire Compact requested firefighters and EMTs from Chichester, Concord, and Pittsfield to assist and labeled the incident a "mass casualty" event — meaning there were many injuries during the crash.
