Weekend Weather: While Friday and Saturday will be nice, more snow and rain are heading to the Granite State on Sunday and Monday.

CONCORD, NH — If you are looking for good weather toward the end of the week, Friday and Saturday are your best bet while rain and snow are likely on Sunday and Monday.

Expect sunny skies on Friday with highs in the upper 30s in Concord and the capital region and the Seacoast, and the lower 40s in Nashua and inland Hillsborough and Rockingham counties. During the overnight hours, lows will be in the lower-to-mid-20s.

Clouds begin to move into the region on Saturday, but the temps will be warm — highs are expected to be in the mid-40s. Overnight, it will drop down into the lower 30s.

Snow is likely before 10 a.m. on Sunday, and then it mixes with rain as the temps reach the upper 50s, according to forecasters. Rain will continue into the overnight hours with lows in the low 40s.

On Monday, rain continues with highs in the upper 40s.

On Thursday morning, the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for most of the state of New Hampshire, warning of strong southerly winds on Sunday night and early Monday.

“Rain and melting snow may lead to some minor flooding concerns by Monday,” the NWS alert stated.
