In a new endorsement, the New Hampshire FOP said Meg Hagaman has built ties with law enforcement agencies statewide.

CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Meg Hagaman for Merrimack County Attorney last week, giving her its "full support and endorsement" in a statement.
The organization described itself as the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 380,000 members in more than 2,200 lodges. The New Hampshire FOP said Hagaman "possesses a distinguished record of public service" and has "dedicated herself to building and maintaining effective partnerships between State and local law enforcement agencies across the State of New Hampshire."
The org tied the partnership work to public safety and the justice system, saying her dedication "provided our citizens with the results they deserve against criminal offenders, and a justice system they can trust."

The FOP also pointed to Hagaman's background in state government, noting she had "served within the highest levels of the New Hampshire Department of Justice." The group said, if elected, "we are confident she will bring that expertise to Merrimack County where she will continue to be firm, fair, and stand with both law enforcement and victims."
The Fraternal Order of Police said it is committed to improving working conditions for law enforcement officers and the safety of the communities they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. In this case, that support now includes its backing of Hagaman in the Merrimack County contest.
