CONCORD, NH — The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts issued $118,955 in grants for cultural organizations in the state that both support young people and those with chronic health conditions.

The grants were issued to two sectors: The 2021 Arts in Health and Youth Arts. The health grants support activities in health care facilities and social service agencies that focus on recovery, rehabilitation, and other underserved populations, according to the council. The youth projects are educational in nature — with a focus on creative problem solving and positive forms of expression.
