New Hampshire Preservation Alliance Seeks 'Seven To Save' Nominations
The program focuses attention and resources on significant historic properties in New Hampshire. The deadline for nominations is Aug. 28.

CONCORD, NH — Nominations are open for the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance’s Seven to Save until Aug. 28.
The program focuses attention and resources on significant historic properties in New Hampshire that are under-used or threatened by neglect, insufficient resources, or unsympathetic development. The announcement will be in October.
Criteria for selection include historical significance, imminence of threat, and potential impact of listing a site. Anyone can make a nomination. Nomination forms and more information are available at www.nhpreservation.org/seven-to-save. To date, more than 100 significant places have been listed to Seven to Save, with more than half saved. Many owners and advocates for the former listees used the designation to help secure new ideas and investments. A few have been lost.
